Casting our Nets
In our journey with Christ we are not promised the proverbial
"rose garden". Paul even tells us we will have troubles,
hardships and distresses... (2 Cor 6:4). Jolene Riley offers
beautiful vocals and a reassurance of our rescue from these
afflictions. On her project titled "Journeyin' On", Riley
supports the promise of God taking us through it all. "Walking
along this rutted terrain called life, down unfamiliar paths,
calculating a step and feeling that strong hand of guidance
along the way, knowing the Source of grace, feeling His

Riley has a vocal talent gift that is graceful and encouraging.
"He Who Dwells", "Put Your Hope In God" deliver the strength
of God's dwelling in Jolene's ministry. Her bio reads like many
of ours do. In her personal life, there have been lots of
distractions along the way like having kids, a failed marriage,
the trials of being a single mom, loss, pain, grace, marrying
again, a step-family... but she made it here.

Many of us can relate to her struggles and challenges of life.
Being able to walk away from these trials claiming them only
to be "distractions" is a testament to her faith. You can listen
to her 9 tracks on "Journeyin' On" and feel inspired and
share the faith in Jesus Christ that has birthed a new person
in Jolene.

her project. Click on "Think of How It Will Be". The joy of our
eternity with God is enough to quell any distraction life may
throw at you.

To have borne the trials that Jolene has experienced, and to
recover to do a positive, promising and encouraging project,
testifies to what God can do if we just believe. I am always
inspired when I hear this type of testimony to one's faith in
the Lord. It gives us hope for tomorrow, in Christ.
